Every element of this multi-part work consists of one central cylinder filled with water, one disc connected to this cylinder by means of an axle and a hollow body weighing approximately 25 kg floating in the cylindrical vessel and connected to the axle by means of a thin wire rope. The movement of the hollow body being lowered by the evaporation of the water is transmitted via the axle to the disc. The movement taking place is imperceptible and can only be observed over a period of several weeks.
